    Data Controller

The controller responsible for the processing of personal data on this website within the meaning of the GDPR is:

    Solomon Tsehaye

    Gut Heim Straße 104

    67657 Kaiserslautern

    Your Rights

As a data subject under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw any consent you have given — including your cookie choices, which you can change at any time via "Cookie Settings" in the footer — at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

    Right to Lodge a Complaint

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The supervisory authority responsible for this business is:

Landesbeauftragter für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Rheinland-Pfalz (LfDI Rheinland-Pfalz), Hintere Bleiche 34, 55116 Mainz, Germany

    Hosting and Server Log Files

When you visit this website, technical information is automatically collected and stored in server log files by the hosting infrastructure, including your IP address, browser and operating system type, the referring page, and the date and time of access. This is necessary to deliver the website reliably and securely and is processed on the basis of legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). These log files are retained for a short, limited period.

    Contact, Estimate, and Booking Forms

When you use the contact form, request an estimate, or submit a booking request, the information you provide — such as your name, email address, phone number, and message or project details — is stored and used solely to respond to your inquiry or process your booking. This processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps taken prior to entering into a contract) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to inquiries). This data is retained only as long as necessary for that purpose, plus any statutory retention period that applies to related invoices or business records.

    User Accounts

If you create a visitor account, your email address and password — or, if you sign in via Google, Facebook, or LinkedIn, the basic profile information those providers share — is stored to operate your account, including any coupon or portfolio-access features tied to it. If you use social sign-in, that provider's own privacy policy also applies to their handling of your data. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting me at the email address above.

    Payment Processing

Booking deposits are processed by Stripe, Inc., a third-party payment processor. Stripe receives the payment information necessary to process your transaction directly; I do not receive or store your full card details. Stripe may process data outside the EU/EEA, as Stripe is based in the United States, under its own appropriate safeguards. See Stripe's privacy policy for details: stripe.com/privacy

    Cookies and Tracking

This website uses cookies in three categories, controlled by the consent banner shown on your first visit and reachable at any time via "Cookie Settings" in the footer:

    • Necessary — required for basic site function, such as your login session, your language and theme preference, and remembering your cookie choice. Always active.
    • Functional — powers the NewOaks live chat widget. Active only if you accept.
    • Analytics — Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC. Active only if you accept, and helps me understand how visitors use the site, on the basis of your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

Analytics and Functional cookies are only set after you actively consent, and you can withdraw that consent at any time via "Cookie Settings" in the footer.

    Blog Comments

If you leave a comment on a blog post, the name, email address, and comment text you provide are stored. The name and comment — not your email address — are displayed publicly, on the basis of the consent you give by submitting the comment.

    Changes to This Policy

This privacy policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to the website or to legal requirements. Last updated: 25 September 2026.
